646f9e108c After a clumsy operation trying to capture a drug dealer, the N.Y.P.D Detectives Jimmy Monroe and Paul Hodges are suspended for one month by their Captain Romans. Jimmy decides to sell his rare baseball card to pay for his daughter's expensive wedding while his jealous partner believes that his wife is cheating on him with their next-door neighbor. When Jimmy sells his card to a memorabilia store, the place is burgled by two small-time thieves and the detective loses his card. They track down the thieves.

The robbery is connected to the thugs running drugs,the partners discover when they search for the card. Will Paul be a cuckold and Jimmy upstaged at his daughter's wedding?
A very disappointing Bruce Willis picture, half comedy half police thriller, but really neither nor. The black actor who plays Willis' partner thinks he is so funny but most of the time he so isn't. I think it is probably the weakest ever film with Willis in it, and it is saying a lot. The young white dude who plays the "parkour" guy looks bloated and tired, and his role is very poorly written. Mexicans are shown in a rather racist, negative manner,brutal but stupid criminals. All in all a waste of time and effort. And once again: the rule here to have a minimum length of 10 lines of review is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is possible to say more in 10 words than in 10 lines.
I'm nicely surprised by the move despite of the predictable plot, but the movie has an amazing spirit, the feeling of the early 90s in really contemporary time action. The chemistry between them is so-o-o-o smoothly , I enjoyed much. In a fact all, but the bad guys performed really nice. On my opinion such movies are new technology killers. Both policeman are good partners and addition of the park-ur is a nice touch (he, I think is the nice surprise of the actors). Well the story has some interesting trailshitting child or police violence, but it is what make it more real than the 90s or late 80s, but with their ow style. Enjoy it. Cheers
Without that heightened racial antipathy-turned-camaraderie, there's not a whole lot to Cop Out besides watching Kevin Smith pretend, with a crudeness that is simply boring, that he's an action director making a comic thriller about cops versus a Mexican drug gang (yawn).
Cop Out is a comedy film written by screenwriting brothers, Mark and Robb Cullen. The screenplay started outa spec script by Mark and Robb Cullen, so Kevin Smith's writing talent was not needed. He did not do a re-write of the script, despite some reports stating so. In his stand-up TV special "Too Fat for 40" he stated that he was essentially taking a break from writinghe tried to figure out why some of his more recent movies (namely "Zack and Miri Make a Porno") weren't doingwell. He realized his life circumstances had changed from the days of "Clerks" and "Mallrats" and that to try to write a movie like that at this stage of his life wouldn't be honest.
